⁵⁷So Ptolemy set out from Egypt, he and his daughter Cleopatra, and came to Ptolemais in the one hundred and sixty-second year.^[a] ⁵⁸King Alexander met him, and Ptolemy^[b] gave him his daughter Cleopatra in marriage, and celebrated her wedding at Ptolemais with great pomp, as kings do.

⁵⁹Then King Alexander wrote to Jonathan to come and meet him.
